In PC Creator, you will develop your career as a computer builder. However, doing so will not be easy. You will have a difficult path from a beginner to a professional. The premise of the game will have you accept jobs from various customers. These jobs will range from building computers and updating PCs to installing operating systems, benchmarking PCs, and fixing PC components.
The game will begin with you building your own computer. This will serve as your walkthrough. Upon completing this first task, you can start accepting jobs from AI customers. Note, however, that you need to buy computer parts and tools for you to be able to complete your accepted task. There are various ways to collect computer parts. You can go to the game store and buy them using your in-game currency. You can also get them for free by watching video ads.
If you don’t have enough in-game money and you don’t want to watch an ad, you can go to the online store. In this feature, you can buy parts using real money. You can also connect with a friend and trade parts with them. Finally, there is a darknet feature, where you can buy cheap computer parts. Be warned, though, as parts bought in the darknet will have bigger risks in the long run.
Own a tech shop
Completing tasks will earn you money, experience points, and reputation. The points and dollars you get vary depending on the difficulty of the job you accept. Over time, your reputation and experience points will upgrade your level from novice to professional.
In addition to accepting jobs, you can also build computers and sell them to get extra dollars and EXPs. However, to do so, you need to have your shop. You can get one by buying it. You can also watch three ads to get it for free.
PC Creator also allows you to upgrade your workroom to increase its PC capacity. However, the higher the PC capacity, the higher the price you need to pay. To help you get more money, you can mine bitcoins, which you can then exchange for dollars.
Not for computer novices
PC Creator – PC Building Simulator comes with a simple and clean UI that is easy to navigate. The center of the screen is dedicated to your workroom. Along the side are the buttons for various menu options. At the bottom left of the screen is your avatar, which shows your EXPs, level, reputation, bitcoins, and dollars when tapped.
However, while the game has an easy-to-navigate design, it will take a while for people to understand how the game goes. If you are not familiar with computers, it will be harder to understand the terms used. The game provides zero explanation on them, so you may end up buying the wrong RAM or video card.
Another inconvenience is the lack of a quick job reference when you are in the middle of completing a task. Having one would be handy, especially if the job is tricky to remember. As it is, players will need to keep jumping back and forth from customer orders, PC edit, and the online store menus to make sure that the specs of the parts are correct.
Cool game, but not for all
PC Creator – PC Building Simulator is a cool game to have if you are into building computers. It functions well and the processes involved are realistic. However, if you don’t have prior knowledge of computer parts, it may take a while for you to enjoy the game. It is not beginner-friendly, so you need to familiarize yourself with various computer parts to understand the game.
